Elon Musk Tweets using SpaceX’s Broadband

Starlink is a satellite constellation which will be used for broadband services which is being constructed by Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

We can all at least see the fruit of the efforts as Elon Musk has used the broadband system to tweet recently which said “sending this tweet through space via Starlink Satelite” followed by “whoa, it worked!!”. This tweet hints that the service is ready for deployment.

SpaceX has already deployed 62 satellites and plans to launch 60 satellites per launch to achieve nearly 12000 satellites. However, this figure is nothing compared to the ambition of launching 42000 satellites for worldwide broadband service.

SpaceX intends to provide broadband service which will be competitively priced and the cash flows from this broadband service will be used for Mars services planned.
