Future Xiaomi Phone to get 120Hz Screen
OnePlus recently announced its latest trio of phones with 90Hz display and it seems it is already old technology. Xiaomi seems to be getting on the 120Hz bandwagon joining the leagues of razer, ASUS and well, Apple.
Apple has been using its 120Hz screen on iPad Pro model which is aimed at professionals who are using the high refresh rates to create professional stuff.
But the most benefit with high refresh rate screen get are the gaming mobile phones. so there are two possibilities. Either Xiaomi is aiming for a professional android tablet which is least likely or Xiaomi is aiming for new screen on their gaming mobilephone which might later on tricle down to their other high end phones.
Xiaomi already has its gaming oriented mobile brand called balckshark.
The news comes courtesy of XDA members who have deciphered codes inside the latest MIUI 11.
