Godot Engine is an open source game engine which has taken the world by storm when it launched its version 3.0. It seems they are continuing with the trend on the road towards version 4.0.
We have reported that the Godot devs are working towards implementing Vulkan API in the next version and with that, they are also refactoring the 3D engine.
One of the new features implemented is emissive light source which can be achieved in realtime.
here the tweet from the main developer Juan Linietsky
Juan also demoed real-time mirror material with roughness controllers using Voxel based reflections.
Godot is shaping up to be one great upgrade.
