Google to kill Tv Interface for Web
Google has a vast graveyard of its pet project which was launched with lots of fanfare but in the end, were canceled. It seems one more project is going to join them as Google has decided to kill it TV interface for web.
This interface is primarily used by Android for TV as a standalone application. However, those with HTPC with other operating systems could run the same TV interface through web.
This might be due to google’s ongoing war with Amazon where youtube was pulled from Amazon’s supported devices. but people could still get TV interface via web.
Android TV owners, however, are still safe.
