Nvidia Geforce 1650 Super Gets Super Upgrade

You can always guess that the launch of a product (Nvidia Super) is near when the leaks are, well leaking everywhere. Nvidia has been on prowl ever since AMD announced its RX5500. The juicy part is that not only 1650 Super will have better memory, it will also get beefier GPU specs too.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super

There was already a leak that 1650 super will get GDDR6 treatment instead of GDDR5, but what the current leak state in order to compete with RX5xx and RDNA based RX5500, the GPU is upgraded from present 1650’s 896 cores to 1290 cores. Max boost clock also jumps from 1665MHz to 1725MHz. ROPs remain at 32.

What considerably change is the vanilla 1650 is rated at 75W which means it does not require external power connector and can run directly from PCIE power. However the 1650 Super will have a rated power of 100W which means external power connection will be required.

There is more, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super

As reported earlier, This one gets 1408 CUDA cores, 80 Texture Mapping Units, and 48 raster operation units. The clock speeds remain at 1530 MHz base and 1785 MHz boost. The biggest upgrade is in the form of memory upgrade which is now GDDR6 instead of existing GTX 1660.
