Photoshop arrives for iPad on App Store with Missing Features

iPad Pro is aimed at professionals but still lacked the visuality of a desktop version of Photoshop. iPad has been blessed with good software taking advantage of iPad Pros Apple superior processing power, great screen and Apple pencil including Procreate and Art Studio Pro. But now the grand daddy of all is here, Photoshop!

Announced in 2018 with the launch of 2018 iPad Pros, the iPad version is a 30 day trial version but brings the full fledged Photoshop engine but the features set are still limited. Here are the top features.

  • The Photoshop familiar Tools adapted for iPad gesture usage
  • Work anywhere using cloud storage
  • Compositing using lasso, quick selection with feathering etc
  • Retouching images

With the arrival of Photoshop and Fresco in works, Procreate team is back to the drawing board and are preparing the much awaited major overhaul i.e. Proceate 5
