Realme X2 arrives in India

The aggressive march of Realme continues in India which has now launched Realme X2 to take on the upper mid-range segment and will compete against the like of Xiaomi’s Redmi K20, Oppo Reno 2, etc. This replaces the existing Realme XT model.

Here is the specification of the newly launched Realme:

Screen

It gets the same 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen sporting a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080. This also gets in display fingerprint scanner and a coating of Gorilla Glass 5. Waterdrop Notch completes the front side.

The SOC

The internal gets Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618 GPU. LPDDR4X RAM is included with the option of 6/8 GB. Internal storage has the option of 64GB to 128 GB and gets the powerful UFS 2.1.

Battery

The battery size remains the same this generation at 4,000mAh but gets an upgrade by supporting VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 which can charge at 30W.

Camera

The camera setup on the phone has quad camera with 64MP main camera at f/1.8, an 8MP ultra-wide camera at f/2.2, a 2MP macro lens at f/2.4 , and a 2MP depth camera /f2.4. The phone is capable of shooting 4K video at 30fps, while at 1080p it can record up to 60fps. The front camera is limited to 32MP at f/2.0. 960fps Slow-motion Video is supported.

Software

The operating system is Redmi’s own ColorOS 6.1 which in turn is based on Android 9.0. So no latest Android 10 out of the box. However, this will be upgraded to Color OS 7 which will be based on Android 10.

Price

The price goes as below

INR16,999 for the 4/64 GB option

INR18,999 for the 6/128 GB variant

INR19,999 for the 8/128 GB version.
