Xiaomi officially launches all screen Mobile with 180% Screen to Body Ratio

The Xiaomi Mi Mix started it all with a high screen to body ratio mobile phone and it seems Xiaomi will take it even further with Mi Mix Alpha.

The Chinese Mobile giant has launched a mobile with wrap around the screen which takes 180% of the body leaving just a thin strip called “surround display”. With this, Xiaomi has beaten its Chinese rival Huawei who have recently released waterfall screen.

The side buttons are no more as there is no space for buttons but touch with pressure sensitive motors are taking care of that job.

Powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. On the camera front, Xiaomi forges ahead with 108MP camera with 1/1.33-inch sensor size.  This again is a sensor from Samsung which will use pixel binning for low megapixel but high pixel size for great low light images.

The body uses titanium alloy which demarking the premium material used.
