Amazon Launches Tons of New Hardware
We have already reported that Amazon was about to launch a new Echo line up, but what we were not prepared was the launch of a plethora of devices.
Let’s take them up one by one.
Echo and Echo Dot
Echo now has new color schemes and new materials. The Echo Dot which the best selling lot gets a LED digital clock which can adjust its brightness according to ambient light.
Echo Flex
Instead of wiring echo / echo dot to a plug and placing them somewhere, echo flex can just plug itself into a power socket and takes no space. It can also charge your mobile devices through USB
Echo Show 8
The Alexa with 8 Inch display and has a camera inbuilt. if privacy is a concern then the camera has a manual shutter for such people. This can also be used to play Prime Videos.
Echo Studio
If echo and echo dot sounded good then this will make everyone jump for joy. boasting 5 directional speakers, a subwoofer and tweeters are included. The studio features an inbuild DAC to process 24bit audio.
Echo Buds
If Apple has AirPods then Amazon has Echo Buds. Buds offer Bose Active Noise Reduction Technology for noise and hands-free access to Alexa. Being IPX4 certified, these are also water resistant and has 5 hours of music playback capability.
Echo Frame
Well, echo frames are… frames. This means that real prescription lenses can be attached to them. Alexa is integrated with these glasses and has tiny speakers so that you can speak to Alexa. So people may feel awkward when they see people with Echo Frame talking to themselves :D.
