AMD rises above, to fix Ryzen boost frequencies.
Although Ryzen 3000 series has brought great performance and power upgrade, but it still has its own share of controversies. It appeared that most of the Ryzen units are unable to hit their advertised boost clock frequencies.
This was legit issue where even the review units could not hit the boost clock frequencies. Rumor suggested that AMD itself is limiting clock speed to longevity of CPUs.
However, AMD vide twitter has announced that there was some firmware issue and they are issuing new BIOS update with the help of partners to fix the frequency issue.
