Google Play Music Takes Back Seat- YouTube Music to come pre-installed with Android
Believe it or not but slowly but steadily, YouTube music is becoming the default music app in the Android ecosystem instead of Google Play Music.
Google has announced that new phones launched with google services, specifically Android 10 and Android 9 will have YouTube music installed by default.
Even though YouTube music is not as feature-rich as play music, the brand name of YouTube is big enough to warrant default install and replacement of play music and with this we are certain the demise of Play Music is near.
