AMD adding LPDDR4X support
As reported by phoronix.com, recent linux driver patches suggest that next APU called renoir will have support for LPDDR4X at blistering 4266 Mhz.
This is very important for APUs as the GPU inbuilt them are dependent on system RAM and every increase in speed helps in feeding the APU in timely manner.
Original LPDDR4 as introduced in 2014 had max clock at 3200Mhz, however LPDDR4X takes it a notch further. Further, before this, AMD had no support for LPDDR4X.
