Entry Level iPad 7 Launched
Apple has replaced last year’s entry level iPad with New 7th generation iPad Along with iPhone 11. Major difference from older generation iPad is that the new generation has 10.2 inch Retina display screen and the ability to connect full size smart keyboard.
The iPad still uses the old A10 fusion chip which was introduced with iPhone 7 which is surprising because even the iPad Air has the A12 Bionic Chip. The 10.2-inch display of the new iPad has 2,160 x 1,620 pixels resolution and 264ppi pixel density. Below the screen is the physical Home button with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated in it. The tablet comes in 32GB and 128GB variants, both available in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + cellular variants. Other key features include AR support, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and Nano SIM + eSIM functionality. On the camera front, buyers will get an 8MP f/2.4 camera on the back and a 1.2MP f/2.2 sensor in the front.
The iPad retains the first generation Apple Pencil support.
