Intel Announces Next-Gen HEDT CPU, To be the best bang for money
Intel has officially announced that Next Gen Cascade Lake-X which will target HEDT platform dominated by Intel’s Skylake-X and AMD’s Threadripper.
Although no specification has been revealed, however Intel has shown with ots own internal testing which provides performance per dollar at 1.7X to 2.09X compared to Skylake-X. This, to be noted is better than AMD’s zen+ based threadripper.
Further, AMD’s own 3rd gen zen based threadripper is about to launch and the only factor that Intel has shown is performance per dollar, we can infer that a price is incoming from Intel’s camp. Good news for consumers!
