Realme Shares Color OS 7 Screenshots- Beta test begins

Realme’s India CEO Madhav Sheth has shared couple of screenshots of their Android 10 based ColorOS 7. Realme has also announced beta program for Realme X2 Pro.

Realme X2 Pro is scheduled for Android 10 update in March 2020. The Beta test will start on December. In order to roll in the beta program, Indian residents over 18 years of age can register and respond to this forum post.

Coming to ColorOS 7, Madhav Sheth has already stated that future OS iteration will focus more on stock android experience and thus, ColorOS for Realme will be different from what will be available in Oppo.

It is also rumored that Realme may spin off completely from Oppo and become an independent unit. This comes to the heel of realme continuing to climb in global phone shipment with a current rank of 7th.

About Realme X2 Pro

Outside

At just 7mm thickness, the phone has frosted glass on the back with a metallic frame. The back thus has a reflective pattern back.

Inside

Boasting SD855+ with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. In order to maintain thermal performance, a heat sink is also installed. The screen has no compromises with AMOLED screen running at 90Hz refresh rate at Full HD+ resolution. Being a flagship phone, the display also has  DCI-P3 color gamut support which can play content with HDR10+. The display utilizes indisplay fingerprint sensors.

Charging

Although not the fastest among the lot considering Oppo Reno Ace has the fastest charging capability, the Realme X2 Pro is no slouch either. Boasting 50W SuperVOOC charging which can charge 4000mah battery in 35 minutes flat. This is also Qualcomm QC compliant but at 18W.

Camera

Camera wise Realme X2 Pro has quad-camera with main camera as 64MP, 13MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom and 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP sensor for depth. Front camera is nested in a notch display of 16MP camera.
