AMD Ryzen 5 3500 specifications Leak, 6 cores in tow
Wccftech has leaked rumored specification of AMD Ryzen 5 3500 having 6 core and 12 thread with boost clock of 4.2GHz. It is definitely aiming the $150 US budget market considering the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is already placed at $199 US. Many non-X Ryzen 3000 series processors have started to leak out during the recent weeks and this is one of them. Since there is still room for expansion in the sub-$200 US market, AMD is adding new options. The only Ryzen 3000 variant they had until now was the Ryzen 5 3600 while the lower end is covered by the Ryzen 3000 APUs which still are based on the Zen+ architecture. The competition for this chip would be Intel’s Core i5-9500 and Core i5-9400F
