AMD will have 12 Cores CPU at 65W
Ryzen Ryzen 9 3900X is already available albeit with low availability and it seems that AMD is gearing up to launch its smaller brother / sister the Ryzen 9 3900.
Both architectures have the same core and thread counts, but what is unique about Ryzen 9 3900 is that due to lower clock speeds, AMD will be able to shave off TDS to 65W only.
The leak comes courtesy of leak by BIOSTAR’s new BIOS update. Ryzen 9 3950X is delayed and slated for release in November and we will have to wait and watch if Ryzen 9 3900 will launch along with it. TSMC is scrambling to bump up production at 7nm.
