AMD’s Ryzen 3 Series BIOS Leaks- Fixes Boost Frequencies
As reported earlier, AMD’s Ryzen 3xxx series are having trouble hitting their highest rated clock speed and boost speed as advertised by AMD itself.
In this regard, AMD has promised that the issue is to some firmware error and they will fix it by issuing BIOS update with the help of board partners.
It seems that AMD is hitting on the premise and a BIOS leak which fixes the issue in Chiphell forums. People at Tom’s hardware were enthusiast enough to download the BIOS and test it for the fix in boost frequencies. Please note that these are Beta BIOS and some preliminary test.
However, the TL;DR is that the frequencies indeed seems fixed and is able to sustain the frequency until hitting the thermal level.
