Redmi Note 8 Pro launches in India- 4 Cameras enter Mid Segment

Xiaomi has kept its fast pace of launching new phones and has now debuted Redmi Note 8 Pro & Note 8 with 4 cameras to take on the mid tier segment.

Xiaomi this time has chosen Mediatek Helios G90T SOC instead of Qualcomm associated with India launch. The G90T has 4X Cortex A76 core at 2.05GHz and 4X ARM Cortex A55 manufactured at 12nm. GPU is handled by Mali G76. However, one of the biggest jump in hardware level is the use of UFS 2.1 storage which should make the launching of application noticeably fast.

The Screen is 6.53-inch FHD+ panel with HDR support and a notch for the 20MP selfie camera.

Camera wise Note 8 Pro gets 4 cameras, the biggest one being 64MP main camera, 8MP utrawide, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens

The battery gets bigger with 4500mAh and supports fast charging with 18W.

The less powerful sibling gets Snapdragon 665 chipset with 6 GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

Camera wise It comes with a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main shooter, 8 MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensing.

The screen maxes out at 6.3-inch FHD+ display. HDR is nowhere to be seen. The battery of 4,000 mAh battery can be juiced with 18W fast charger.

A dedicated MicroSD card slot is being provided for both the models.
