Update: Android 10 based custom ROM Appears
Update: POCO F1, Xiaomi Mi 6/8, and Redmi Note 5 also join the league with custom ROMs.
Original Story:
Right after Google uploaded source code for Android 10, Custom ROM was awaited by so many people and Zenfone Max Pro M1 Developer has beaten every device maintainer out there with compiled Android 10 ROM.
Not only the ROM appeared 2 days after source code uploaded, the ROM although in Beta state is deemed stable.
The ROM has below mentioned features working
- Boots
- RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
- Fingerprint
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Camera
- Camcorder
- Video Playback
- Audio
- Sensors
- Flash
- LED
- Volte
- GPS
A separate TWRP and google package must be downloaded in order to make the ROM fully functional.
Do note that these are aftermarket firmware and will void your warranty and may result in non functional device.
