HandBrake 1.3.0 Released
The open source and free video transcoding app has a new release. HandBrake is much more famous for benchmarking CPU / GPU as this transcoder is multicore aware and can utilise GPU wherever possible.
This transcoding app has support for most of the video format and supports major operating systems including Windows, MacOS and Linux.
The latest version has below changes
- Redesigned queue UI
- New Playstation 2160p60 4K Surround preset
- New Discord and Discord Nitro presets
- Improved Gmail preset
- Ultra HD Blu-ray discs reading
- WebM container encoding support
- Important external SSA/ASS subtitles
- Improved Nvidia NVENC encoding
- AMD VCE encoding support on Linux
- Intel QSV low power encoding support
- Added Intel QSV support to Flatpak
