AMD has been lobbying its Pro Render engine for use in cinematic industry and as usual, have released the tool as open source.
However, with its new beta preview, they have Vulkan support through which they will use raster engine + ray-tracing engine to get speed plus Full Spectrum Rendering. They have published plugin for Blender 3D to tinker with.
What is AMD Pro Render?
