Realme is churning out new phones faster than anybody considering the new brand status, whether it was the recent Realme 5i, Realme X2 or the Realme X2 Pro and continuing this trend, they have launched 5G ready, flagship laden mobile phone called Realme X50 pro for global usability.
Realme X50 Pro packs a 6.44” FullHD+ Super AMOLED display. However, due to usage of AMOLED screen, the screen refresh rate has to scaled back at 90Hz refresh rate, unline 120Hz refresh rates which is now a trend. Gorilla Glass 5 brings in the protection. There is an indisplay scanner which according to Realme can scan your fingerprint in 0.27 seconds.
Inside– What makes it tick
This has the most powerful SOC available from Qualcomm called SD865 and has 5G modem. For RAM, this has 6GB, 8GB, and 12 GB LPDDR5 configuration. Storage-wise there is a fast but not the latest UFS 3.0 available in 128GB or 256 GB UFS 3.0 with TurboWrite and Host Performance Booster. Vapor cooling system also provided for colling the SOC down when doing some intensive gaming of cam recording.
On the back side, the quad camera adores Realme X50 Pro with the main camera using a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor behind F/1.8 lens. Which when pixel binned can give 16MP output.
It also has an 8MP F/2.3 ultrawide-angle shooter with PDAF and 119-degree FoV, a 12MP 2x telephoto camera and a depth sensor for those lovely bokeh shots.
The front camera are housed under punch hole display with two camera sensors, a 32MP Sony IMX616 as the main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The 4200 mAh battery can be topped up using 65W SuperDart Flash Charge in 35 minutes or a 60% top up in 20 min.
The latest Android 10 is here albeit with the company’s custom UI called Realme UI.
