Huawei Launches Mate 30 and Pro- Gets most powerful Camera and SOC in Android Camp

With everyone wondering what will be the future of Huawei after trade ban imposed by USA government, Huawei has yet launched its most powerful mobile along camera to kill for.

Lets concentrate on Mate 30 Pro which is definitely the star of the show.

Display

Mate 30 Pro has 6.53 inch curved display with outrageous curve of 88 degree. Adored by beautiful OLED panel with HDR support has a resolution of 1,176 x 2,400px. The fingerprint scanner is under display.

The Camera(s)

Huawei brakes the mold by adding 4th camera to the mix. The 4 cmeras include 40MP main cam with 1/1.7 sensor and f1.6 aperture. The second camera is again a 40MP shooter but has ultra wide lens 1/1.54″ sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The Third camera is 8MP shooter with 5x zoom (3x optical & 2x software).

Here is the fun part, it can shoot at 4K mode with 60FPS. The slow motion mode can capture at staggering 7680fps, albeit at 720p.

On front there is a 40MP camera with 3D scanning hardware for hand gesture support which will use the inbuilt Neural processing unit.

The SOC

This introduces Kirin 990 manufactured at 7nm+ technology. Although this till not uses ARMs greatest cores, Huawei has done its own magic on the CPU and has attached Mali-G76 MP16 GPU with an upgraded GPU Turbo. This is not to forget has 5G support inbuilt. 8GB RAM completes the package with 128GB to 256GB storage available.

Charging

The battery is at 4500mAh but two charging methods bundled. the wired charging is capable at 40W and wireless charges is no slouch either with 27W support.

Oh and this is IP68 certified for water resistance.

Software

The most severe impact was suppose to be the software. However Huawei has packed Android 10 with it. Although Google services and its play store is MIA. This leads us to believe that this is using AOSP which is the open source version of Android.
